CNA is always interested in connecting with strong architectural professionals who are ready for more responsibility, broader project exposure, and meaningful ownership of their work.

This opportunity is well suited to someone who wants to grow beyond a narrowly defined production role and gain hands-on experience across multiple phases of architectural practice. If you are disciplined, self-managed, detail-oriented, and eager to develop stronger design and technical judgment, this role offers the chance to contribute directly to real projects while being trusted to work with independence.

You will be a strong fit if you bring design sensitivity, technical knowledge, curiosity, accountability, and the ability to learn quickly, take initiative, and move work forward without unnecessary oversight. The ideal candidate is comfortable contributing from Schematic Design through Design Development, Construction Documentation, permit/tender coordination, and Construction Administration.

This role is for someone who wants to be trusted, challenged, and given the opportunity to build well-rounded project experience in support of long-term professional growth.

Key responsibilities may include:

  • Architectural and interior design development

  • Space planning, material selection, and presentation work

  • Construction drawings, detailing, and coordination

  • Consultant, client, contractor, supplier, and permit coordination

  • Code, zoning, and permit research

  • Site measurement, site reviews, and CA support

  • Managing project tasks, priorities, and deliverables independently

  • Maintaining design quality, technical accuracy, and clear communication

The ideal candidate has:

  • Strong design sensitivity and technical knowledge

  • Experience with drawing packages from SD through DD and CD

  • Sound judgment and practical construction understanding

  • Strong organization, communication, and problem-solving skills

  • The ability to learn quickly, take initiative, and work with minimal oversight

  • A disciplined, detail-oriented approach to documentation and coordination

  • A proactive attitude and accountability for project outcomes

  • Access to a personal vehicle for site visits is an asset
